This module introduces the key principles of data protection and cybersecurity that you need to be aware of when working in the screen industries. You'll learn what you need to do to protect data, and how to respond effectively if something goes wrong.

In this module, you’ll learn about:
- why you need to know about data protection and cybersecurity, regardless of your role in the screen industries
- how to protect the data you handle as part of your work
- how to keep your device and workstation secure
- what to do if something goes wrong.

This module is recommended for anyone who is currently working, or thinking of working, in the UK screen industries, in particular film and TV. We recommend completing this module in one sitting.
