About
Jack studied creative writing and literature in evening classes during his economics/business degree. As he was mostly interested in screenwriting he then followed some classes in directing and consequently got into the filmmaking BA at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
His graduation film Gender Twister was nominated (and won runner up) for the Young Greenhorn Award in 2014 and the 90 second film competition by My first job in film & Encounters in 2017. His short script Bouba and Kiki made quarter finalist for the Shorescripts short script competition and premiers at the Glasgow Short Film Festival as part of the Scottish Competition.
Jack is interested in making films about society often influenced by his background in economics and being a (sometimes invisible) minority.
